Congregation
Welcome...
Join us every Sunday for our weekly 9:30am service.
We are a community of faith seeking to live out the radical good news of Jesus. We open up our land, buildings and resources in the heart of town with the hope of creating a 'meeting place' for people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
The John Flynn Memorial Uniting Church was built for the people of the outback and was inspired by the life works of the Reverend John Flynn.

John Flynn Memorial Uniting Church
This page is the official Facebook page for Alice Springs Uniting Church and the historic John Flynn Memorial Church.
Join us on Monday night 7-8:30pm at the church, for an interactive workshop with international speaker Tanya Crossman on living in two worlds at once.
Some people carry multiple cultures, languages, and sets of expectations about who they're meant to be. It shapes children in ways that show up years later, and shapes the adults raising them in ways they may never have named.
Whether you grew up this way, are raising children between cultures and languages, or support others living this kind of life, this workshop will give you insights and practical tools to bring the joy of intercultural life come alive.
Come for the strengths, the struggles, and learn what actually helps.
This is for you if:
You didn’t grow up in Australia, but now have children here
Your family speaks one language at home and another everywhere else
Your kids are more (or less!) at home in Alice Springs than you
You've ever struggled to answer "where are you from?"
You work alongside families who navigate two cultures every day ... See MoreSee Less

Outback Youth Camp brings together the church youth groups from all across Alice Springs. It is supported by Scripture Union Central Australia. Registrations close Thursday 2 April.
Become a Camp Sponsor: Every camp costs money, but we don’t want that to get in the way of anyone attending. So if you are in a position to GIVE by becoming a camp sponsor, this will help provide financial assistance so that youth can attend who otherwise wouldn't be able to. We are also looking for people to sponsor the costs for leaders who are already giving up precious days of annual leave to attend. ... See MoreSee Less
